I love some of its effects, like convolution (!) which it can do with a couple of keystrokes (copy an impulse response, select a region of audio to apply it to, and run the convolve command). I wish so much that Sony would port that thing to the Mac, sigh. I've got Peak and WaveEditor, and I've used a lot of others, but nothing touches SoundForge as far as I know. It's the best audio editor around, by miles, if you ask me. I've used soundforge on a PC in the past and found it useful but also limiting. If you find soundforge limiting then you're out of luck.
